GORDON JAMES MASTEN

I remember Gordon from a couple episodes on Road to Avonlea. He played the pig farmer.

I know this is a couple years after Gordon´s passing, but I wanted to share what a profound impact his performance in A Child´s Christmas In Wales had on me as a child and on into adulthood. Gordon was my favorite uncle in that movie and we watch this film every year as a family tradition since the 1980s. Just knowing he had a talent that reached far into other parts of the world is an amazing thing. Thank you Gordon for what you´ve given to everyone, and I´m sorry to hear of your passing so...

I spent the summer of 1970 at Camp Pine Crest , where I became friends with Gord and shared some adventures with him. I was going to contact him on facebook but never got around to it . A really great person that I´m glad I knew .

Gord was my client at the Royal Bank in Toronto way back in 1985. I remember his fabulous sense of humour as he had a hysterical voice mail recording when you called him... I still remember him all these years later, he was one of a kind! My condolences to his family... you were blessed to have such a wonderful person in your life!

With his unfailing good humour, his generosity of spirit and even his flaming fringe of coppery hair, Gordon lit up every room he ever walked into. He lit up our community. He lit up this world. We will miss him.
