Dear McCoy Family,
I just received news of Dr. McCoy's passing. Sadly, it is too late to attend his service to pay tribute to this very compassionate man.
Twelve years ago today, he and Dr. Lenahan performed colon surgery on me at St. Jude. It is because of his skill as a surgeon and his wise advice to endure chemotherapy that I am alive today.

Dear Helen and Family,

My prayers and my deep sympathy are with you in the loss of your loved husband and father. He was a wonderful doctor and friend. He helped me a great deal when I was administrator and prioress at St. Catherine's from l961 to 1967. His talks to the cadets were filled with wisdom and faith.

May our Risen Jesus grant him the reward of his generous labors in caring for his family and so many others in his profession and may Our Lady comfort you...

What an incredible life! Uncle Gordie, I am envious of where you are now but we all have to wait our turn. My mom loved and adored you Uncle Gordie, I am sure you know that.
