Lue, I am so very pleased to have you share the wonderful life history of your father with me and steve. His life accomplishments are impressive and importantly seem to have been attained while at the same time giving himself to his family and community and pretty much making the world a better place wherever he touched. It seems to me that he was happy and lived his life fully.

Sigrid, I am so sorry to hear of Gordon's death. I still think of him as uncle Lan's side kick who came to help on the farm when Dad first got started. I still remember in vivid color the time he was stacking hay on the truck and I was "driving" I could not have been more that 8 or 9. I had to stop on a hill then restart and while doing so dumped the whole load off along with Gordy. I burst in to tears and every one else burst in to laughter and chastised them selves for putting me in...
