I met Gordon Oaks when I was a student at AIC and also when I was a security guard at One Monarch Place Office tower, where his office Monarch Capital was located on the 7th floor. I just found out Skip had passed last year. I always remembered him from our times at QTV and remember him fondly. RIP Skip. Jerry Saval class of 1963

My condolences to The Oakes Family. My Dad and Sylvia shared many wonderful stories about Skip.

My deepest sympathy to Pam and family. I enjoyed working for Gordon as his assistant at Monarch Capital. He was a great boss and person. May happy memories bring you comfort and peace.

Very sorry to learn of Gordon´s passing. I first met Gordon years ago a Crumpin-Fox where I worked and he was a member. Always a true gentleman and a touch of class. He was always so enjoyable to talk to and spend time with. My condolences to the family.

So incredibly sorry to read about Gordon's passing. He was a great man and supported my husband Donald. My deepest condolences to you Pam and your family. I remember our last dinner in Amherst. May you find peace and comfort with your family and friends! Thinking of you!

Condolences to the Oakes family. I have many fond memories of Mr. Oakes

gordon was an officer with me at our high school in north Adams...my condolences to Pam and family. we were also classmates a UMASS..although we had little contact over the years it saddens me at his passing. I followed his career as I do with all of our Drury classmates. He was dedicated to UMASS and was one of those stalwarts of the community...god speed Gordon and may you wait in heaven for the rest of your clan
