QUEENSBURY --- Gordon Lee Osborne Jr., 64, of Mud Pond Rd., passed away unexpectedly Monday, January 10, 2022.
Born July 12, 1957, in Niskayuna, NY, he was the son of the late Carmelina (Morsillo) and Gordon L. Osborne Sr.
On September 7, 1986, Gordy married Carolyn R. Klem in Glens Falls.
Following graduation from Glens Falls High School, Gordy joined the United States Marine Corp Reserves, receiving a honorable discharge. Later he became a carpenter/millwright for Millrights Local #1163 until his retirement in January 2021.
Gordy enjoyed spending time with his family, be it gatherings, holidays, or just watching movies. He spent a lot of time creating and working on many projects, and enjoyed spending time at “The Shack”. If he wasn’t working on projects, he was either finding new hobbies or taking a nice long nap. He very much loved the outdoors, especially our trips to Sacandaga.
Gordy was a very hard worker and provider for his family. He loved his family more than anything.
In addition to his parents, Gordon was predeceased by his grandparents, Harold and Mildred Osborne and Leonardo and Assunta Morsillo.
Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Samantha Rose Osborne; son, Daniel Lee Osborne and stepson, Johnathan (Casey) Klem; grandson, Benjamin Klem; sister, Assunta Durhammer; brothers, Leonardo H. (Ilona) Osborne, and John L. M. Osborne; also, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Calling hours will take place Wednesday, January 19, from 4 to 5:45 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home, 11 Lafayette St., Queensbury, NY 12804. There will be a few minutes of share time at the end of calling hours for loved ones to share their memories of Gordy.
A gathering for all will be held directly after the Calling hours at the Queensbury VFW Post 6196, 32 Luzerne Rd, Queensbury NY.
Condolences and floral arrangements may be sent directly to Baker Funeral Home, 11 Lafayette St., Queensbury, NY 12804, or through www.bakerfuneralhome.com.

had quite a few memories of working with Gordon over the last 10 years. we could always find a reason to laugh readily and share views about our struggles and victories. May the Lord our God receive you in his arms of comfort, peace and everlasting life, in Jesus name. You will be missed.

Gordy was a good man and proud dad with a boisterous spirit. He had a way of making everyone feel welcome and naturally brought folks together. In an often divisive world, those traits are increasingly important (and rare). We will miss him.

I will miss my Uncle Gordy so much. He wanted nothing more in the world than for his whole family to be healthy, happy, and loved. Boy, did he love us.
