Wonderful friend and coworker. Always calm and gracious.

Gordon was a wonderful man. We worked on the Arsenal together. He never raised his voice and gave me lots of good advice.

Gordon and I didn't maintain contact thru most of the years since we were friends which was mostly at work in the '60's. Still, I remember him vividly and treasure that friendship. He went to the wrong school....Auburn, while I was fresh out of U of Alabama. That difference was never ignored. We had lots of fun just on that matter. He chose Madison to live and I went to Arab. Job assignments further separated us. Still, I haven't forgotten and am sorry for Pat and family's loss. "Goodbye...

Gordon was a wonderful man and friend...a truly devoted follower of Jesus, and example of one. He will be missed by all. Who ever knew him.

I write this with a heavy heart as I remember dear, sweet Mr. Perry! He and Mrs. Perry have sat behind my family in church for years and have watched my children grow up from that seat. He was always quick to say hello to us and greet the kids, and seemed to have an especially soft spot for my daughter, probably from having daughters of his own!
