Gordon R. Pfeiffer

I wish to express an extreme sense of sadness and loss upon learning recently about the passing of cherished army buddy, Gordy Pfeiffer. We served together at Fort Benning, GA and Fort Bragg, NC, subsequently staying in touch over these last sixty plus years. Gordon Pfeiffer will forever be memorialized as a young, cheerful paratrooper in the minds of those who served with him. Gordie you will be missed by our family. We only knew you at Mike's but you made an impact in our lives. Always knowing what we wanted and asking after our son who was at college. Always happy to see us and we were happy to see you! You will always have a special place in our heart. Rest easy our friend. The Wrights, Mark, Lisa and Tyler.

My condolences to the family. We lived across from Gordy on Second Avenue in the 1980's. I remember him as a friendly, helpful neighbor.
