Not sure what to say?

I knew Gordon via the Evergreen Bowling Alley in Everett. This goes back to the 1950!s He and his friend Al Olson tended the pin setting machines there. Gordon also loved to play the pin ball game machines there. He and Bob Hill would play after hours into the early morning. Gordon also a very good arm wreasler. I lost contact with him in about 1960 me going into the military and he and Janice getting married. About 12 years ago, I started reunions of us bowlers from those days of so...

Love you Uncle Gordon! Your strong and Loving family will carry on your love and strong work ethic!

I grew up near Reykdal's, one block down on Cascadia Ave, and played football with little Gord when we were young, and through high school. Gordon and Janice were always kind, and friendly. I would catch rides home from Jefferson, Eisenhower, or Cascade after football practice and I never felt like they were inconvenienced. My wife and I have had 2 houses built by the Reykdal's, and greatly appreciate how the family interacts with others, and the respect and appreciation of the...

Gordy,
I only know your dad through your stories. I am sorry for your loss.

It's hard to imagine a world without Gordon. He was larger than life but also loving and a tender heart. Two things really defined what Gordon was to me: a man of his word, someone I could totally trust, and a family man. No matter what, family came first. I love and respect him and will miss him terribly, he was family to me.

we were so sorry to hear of Gordon's passing. while we did not know him personally, we heard wonderful stories from Mark and Jill. it was clear how much he loved his family and had a wonderful joy of life and adventure. Though he is physically gone, he will always be with you in your hearts and in your wonderful memories. in sympathy. Janelle and Kevin Sgrignoli.

Our deepest sympathy to Gordons entire family. Theres so much to celebrate about Gordon. His powerful spirit. His deep sense of care and responsibility for every member of his family. His contagious smile and that twinkle in his eye that hed give with his approval. Those countless times we would negotiate a transaction by phone while he was full tilt running on his treadmill - always amazed me. His clever wit and wonderful sense of humor that lightened even the most serious conversations....

My love and condolences to the Reykdal family. I will always remember Gordon as a warm and welcoming figure. Every time I visited Everett (my hometown) to stay with Molly and Gordy, he always had a kind word, always asked me how life was in St. Paul, Minnesota asked about my husband and my kids. He always had a way of making you feel welcome and part of the family.

I have so many wonderful memories of Gordy, he was almost like a second father to me during my high school years and into college. We (myself and family) got to go on lots of snow mobile adventures with Gordy and his family. It was so much fun! Gordy was just as excited, or even more excited, than any of us kids in the group. Gordy was also my daily running partner during the summers of my college basketball years. I could always count on him meeting me at the job site in Pioneer Trails...
