Not sure what to say?

I knew Gordon my second oldest brother health had been in rough shape for several years. Gordon taught me about everything I know about in sports making me an excellent athlete. He was my mentor after our dad died in March 1970. As I rose in rank to Chef (Highest possible Engineer) or GS-15 he had pictures taken of me in uniform pointing at my 4th gold stripe on my sleeve. Knowing he was ill he even made it out to Alameda to look at some ships I was Port Engineer for in the BAy Area under...

Gordon was my landlord and training officer. I like many other young cops looked at him in "Awe" as he patrolled the streets of Sacramento's North area. l learned a lot more than police work from Gordon, thank you my friend, may you rest in peace.

Penny - I was so sorry to read of Gordon's passing. I know you've had a few challenging years with Gordon's health issues. Wish I could reach out and give you a hug. Pls give me a call when your up to it - we never did get to go to our lunch date - maybe later on.

I'm one of Gordon's cousins, Cathy Demetreon. My sisters and I grew up many years in Calif. with Gordon and family. He was like a brother to me that I didn't have in my family. He always made me laugh like everyone else in the family. He let me hang out with him while he life guarded at the pool. He always let me tag along. I love you Gordon and miss you. Thank God for memories. My best to Penny. Thank you for taking care of my cuz.

Gordon was my training officer. His knowledge, skills, and abilities were passed on to me which I still use to this day. If there is such things as a super cop....that was Gordon. RIP brother.......

I had Gordon for a TO but only for a week - great week. Learned so much from specially the intuitive side of being a cop. Remember to focus on that third eye Gordon. RIP
