Gordon M. "Gordy" Schafer

My eyes seen the same man and a different man. Gone was the man who ran with out hesitation. His quickness and ready lessened. For 27 years I shared many adventures with my best friend and not once did I see him find his "one" adventure. On May 13th, 2004 he woke up and told me he found it. He said he asked Christ into his heart. Now I know my friend is on an adventure that compares to none. It is said that there is but one way to Heaven and leave it to Gordy to find that "one" way.

May our sympathy and the concern you receive from others help to comfort you both in your great loss. We all so wanted Gordy to be restored to health through the efforts of our medical expertise.
