Not sure what to say?

Gordon visiting the Turks and Caicos Islands (February 2004)

It is a joy to remember him and how he touched our lives. It is painful to know that we have only those memories now. My heart is with you for you loss.

It is so very hard to suffer a loss, especially that of friends and family. Gordon, though serious in business, a true professional, always managed to add a pinch of fun and a dash of laughter. He will be missed, indeed...

Dear Becky,
My heart is full with thoughts of you and Gordon. Although we met on vacation and don't know each other well, I remember the way you, as a couple, lit up the room. I will remember Gordon as a kind, compassionate, joyful man, and you, his perfect partner. My heartfelt sympathy to you and your family.

Dear Becky,
Kathy and I just found out today of Gordon's passing. I am so sorry for your great loss. I do apologize for not keeping in touch with both of you after the cruise. We both had such a great time with you! You made the trip so special because of your warmth and humor. I believe I've probably thought of you with every memory of the trip to Alaska. Now, I wish I would have told you and Gordon so. I will always remember his laughter and lighthearted manner. My thoughts and my...

On the few occasions when we met over the ensuing years, his friendliness and questions about the events of my life always gave the impression that he was truly...

My sincere appreciation for all the loving entries everyone has made to Gordon's memory. I enjoyed each and every one! He was a very special person in my life and in the lives of our family. There is a Gordon sized hole in my heart (and that's BIG).
I went to Weyerhaeuser last Wednesday to retreive his personal things from his desk. Don Olsen went with me to help me. It appeared as though he had just stepped out for a moment and would be right back. I realized when I sat in his chair...

I had the pleasure of working with Gordon for many years. Since I am on the east coast, we would not see each other often, but Gordon was always willing to help me out whenever I needed it via telephone or e-mail. He is dearly missed.
