Not sure what to say?

I learned so much about life and patient care from this man. He was one of my role models.

Dear Family Snider,

I write in the hope of offering some small condolence upon the loss of your life partner, your father, Dr. Gordon Snider, on behalf of the Israel Pulmonary Society, and for myself, his fellow from 1981–1984.

Dr. Snider was an excellent clinician, and a kind and generous man, who shared his wisdom and experience freely. For pulmonologists in Israel, he was perhaps the leading American specialist in our field. He took the lead in training a generation of...

To the Snider family: Gordon was one of my most favorite of the faculty when I arrived over 17 years ago to VA Boston. He would visit me early in the morning to talk about his research efforts. I have such fond memories of our discussions and he was certainly one of the most dedicated physicians I have come to know. My sincerest sympathy to you all. Nancy Watterson-Diorio, CEO, Boston VA Research Institute, Inc.

My sincere condolences to the entire family. Gordon was a wonderful friend and colleague for many years here at VA Boston/Boston University. He will be missed.

Terry Keane.

I am so saddened to hear of his passing. He was a wonderful mentor to me while I worked at the Boston VA and at BU. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Sally, I worked with Gordon for years when he was Chief of Medicine at Jamaica Plain. A wonderful physician and a kind and compassionate man, he will be missed. You have my deepest sympathies.

Sally, you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers at this sorrowful time. He will always be remembered as a wonderful man and brilliant doctor who left contributions to pulmonary medicine and the Alpha-1 Community that will be difficult to exceed. Sandy Brandley
