The first I ever saw Gordon was at a dance at a community hall in Prince George B.C. I was absoutley stunned by his striking appearance,
& I said to my friend "Who is that".I never dreamed that I would meet him let alone marry him. Strangley enough I was introduced to him a few week weeks later at the home of a friend Lillian Hill who is still my after 62 years. We were married on Oct.7th 1944,moved to Vancouver 1949. He was a great husband & provider. We all loved him very much. I miss...

I don't know whether it was his piano playing or the great stories as a young trapper or bush pilot that I loved to hear the best. He took us on camping & sailing adventures we won't forget. Dad had a special tucking me into bed method where he would snug the blankets so tight around me that I felt truley loved. He was a good father and and we had a nice warm loving home with traditional Christmas Easter & Thanksgiving celebrations which he loved.

My fondest memory of Gordon is of him playing the harmonica in the appartment in Guildford. I also remember earlier times of visiting Ruth and Gordon in their home in New Westminster. His genuine friendliness, and energetic personality made all who met him, feel welcome. He loved his garden, shop, and wood carving, and was always happy to show me around. Always missed. Tony Olmr
