Teacher, coach and a great man, Gordie Taylor was a very influential leader to hundreds of students and athletes at Adam Kolb and Handy Middle schools. We are all much better humans due to mentors like Gordie Taylor.

Mr Taylor was an inspirational teacher when I had him at Kolb school. It was a blessing to reconnect with him at Bayfield. I will never forget his daily smiles and good wishes for his care staff and family. He will be sadly missed

Matt and family, I have fond memories of Gordie from our years teaching together at Kolb School. We also had great times at University of Michigan football games. He was a great guy who well-liked by his students and respected by the staff, he'll be greatly missed. May he rest in peace and may his memory be eternal.
