Went to high school with Gordi=he was always a good friend. Good memories when we were on shift I at the old S.S.sta. My sincere condolences to his Family.

I will never, ever forget how helpful and frendly "Gordy" was to our rookie class Second Session 1974! What a "challange" we were to the academy staff that was led by the infamous, Sgt. Ed Joyner. Gordon was one of the finest men I ever worked with. Gordon and I were the only two MCP officers to be sent into DC during the riots of 1968! Every day as his partner meant you laughed a lot, learned something new, learned some new facts about the history of Silver Spring, had to listen to "old time music" on WGAY and you were safe because you were riding with a skilled experienced police officer who was the absolute best pistol shot on the MCP.
