Not sure what to say?

We are so very sorry to hear about Mr. Van Overloop’s passing. Ross remembers his laugh. It was contagious! In the neighborhood he was the fun dad! We are praying that God will surround your family with His grace, peace and comfort. Love Ross and Suzann VanKlompenberg

My sympathies to the whole family. I fondly remember all the great times we had with Gord and family up at Silver Lake during summer vacations: hanging out on the dunes, sailboat rides, water skiing, and of course ... Ice cream cone time! May he rest in peace.

My heart grieves with your family at the loss of Gord. He was a very special to me and I will miss him deeply. He and I shared many meals laughing, crying and just talking. He listened without judgment and counseled with few words but much wisdom. God sent his friendship to me as a gift, for which I am thankful. I smile to think of him in glory, it is what he longed for. My sympathy to you all, and pray that God gives you His peace at this time.

I extend my sympathy to your entire family. We were boating friends at Parkside Marina with Gord and June. Loving memories being up north in Leland and Charlavoix too.
He was a very special funny man.

Thank you for sharing the video with us! The video clip with Gord signing "Jesus Loves Me" with the beautiful children is precious and is such a great gift! Very much representative of his love for Jesus and his amazing family. What a wonderful earthly legacy. He will be missed.

Our heartfelt sympathy to the whole family! He was a great man. 2019 HCS Grandparents day, he visited many classrooms with his son, Jim. They both stopped in my 4th grade room to visit the VanOverloop relatives. I will always remember exactly where he sat and his smiles while he listened to the children talk and play their recorders. :) He leaves behind lots of good memories. Sharing in your sorrow but rejoicing in his entry into glory.

Hi Ross. Grandpas are special. Keep your memories of him with you always. Sincerely Becky and Cheryl Gibbs
