Gordie, as we always called him back in the day was so much fun and just an all around great guy. Sorry I never saw him much in recent years. Just really happy I knew him. One of the good ones.

We are so sorry to hear about your family's loss. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you during this difficult time. We have memories of him helping Uncle Lee (Sheldon) with milk deliveries when he was just a teenager and swimming in the pond near the farm. He will be missed.

This was a truly good man who kept a positive outlook, always seemed to maintain a calm demeanor, and adhered to great values. He quietly set an example of how one can lead a quality life as an American, a good community person, and a dedicated family man. His passing at much too early an age is distressing, but his personal legacy is wholly positive in important things that matter most.

I am shocked and very sad to hear about Gordie - I worked with him for a very short period of time as a softball ump and ALWAYS admired his calm, cool demeanor. He will be greatly missed - God's blessing to his family.
