We stayed in touch and got together from time to time thru the years.

Gordon was my oldest friend. I had known him since 1954, when I went to work as a copy boy (the paper's first) at the Enterprise. We stayed in touch over the years and shared many martinis. Although he hated to travel, he even visited me once in Pismo Beach on his way back from somewhere north. We last had dinner in 2006. I could not attend the funeral, but I hope to hear about his memorial (from someone). My sympathies to Molly (who was my neighbor in the early 60s) and Diane. I will miss...
