WINSLOW -- Gorman W. Mosser Jr. went to be with his Heavenly Father on Oct. 24, 2010. At age 74 he still played softball on a regular basis. He also played volleyball, basketball, and baseball, but he loved the people as much as the sports he played.

Not sure what to say?

Not a day goes by when I have a real positive thought about Gorman. Since his passing I have renamed my softball team which is now called G-Force in memory of Gorman, who was a inspiration to all of us on the team and everyone in the league. I know he is looking down and wishing to play. Team Heaven now has one of the best knuckle ball pitchers ever. Miss you

Cleveland "Brownie" Brown

Connie,we are so sorry to hear of Gorman passing. It is so hard to believe that we will not see him pass by the house and wave and smile as he always did, just know that he will always be in your heart. If there is anything we can do to help you let us know. Your neighbors, Bernard, Julie, Erin, Cathy and Camden

We are so very sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Your neighbor,
Dan & Karen Martin

I had the pleasure to know Gorman for many years. I enjoyed playing both with him and against him on the softball field. He also played coed volleyball. No matter what side he was on, he always had a friendly smile and a wonderful sense of humor. He brought a smile to everyone's face with his determination and skill. I don't think I EVER got a hit off of his knuckleball! I will miss him dearly.

Fondly,

My memories of Gorman are of his acceptance and warmth toward all people. He was thoughtful and kind, exemplifying a Christian spirit. Sister Connie, my heart goes out to you in sympathy and love. For all family, may the peace of Christ rule in your hearts... may you be comforted by the presence of family, friends, and your memories. With love, Iris

To the dear family members of our dear friend Gorman:
My prayers are with you during this time, as I hope we can all reflect on the wonderful moments provided by Gorman that have touched our lives. Never will I meet a more encouraging, positive, and competitive teammate. He continuously made me a better player and more importantly, a better man.
I will sadly miss my role model,
Ralph
(Mr. All Pro in Gormans words)

Gorman was special to all of us at the Muskie Center. I was blessed to know this man for the short time I did. We will all miss him, he was truly an irreplacable part of the team. Connie, you are in my thoughts and prayers every day.

I met Gorman a handful of times when I would pick up a client at the Muskie Center, and everytime Gorman greeted me by name, and beamed while telling me about my clients day. Gorman was such a sweet man who lit a room with his smile. He truely was an angel on earth, I feel blessed to have had the pleasure to meet him.

In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always.
