Not sure what to say?

My friend and mentor is now gone. So many memories to list in this short message. He was a true friend, a nononsense type person who was always willing to help anyone. He and I hunted together, fished together, and killed many alligators during the seasons past. This man was like a father to me, having lost my father in his mid fifties and an older brother who treated me with kindness, but always teaching the ways of nature. I miss my friend tremendously......... God rest his soul.

As an owner of the camp next to his, Mr. Hauk was as fine a person I have ever known. Always ready to help, always accomodating always picking on you. The last several years without him there were making the trips up there less enjoyable. He will be in our prayers.

Sorry for your lost of a great person. He remained a great friend to me since meeting him in 2001. Have many fond memories at time spent out at the camp. He will be missed.
