Not sure what to say?

To the Lowry family, I'm sorry for your lost and pray your life beacon of light will shine, be bless. I met Lowry while living in West Germany, then at Seattle U, then as Governor, he the dear friend to me I could always count on to my family, community project and me. I will always remember him and miss his beautiful smile, laugh.
Thank you for sharing Lowry with us.

My sympathy and prayers for Mary and the family. I knew Mike while I was President of the WSU Young Democrats and he was the state President (I graduated in 1973). Though I had not worked with him since then I admired and was thankful for his progressive and principled leadership as a Congressional Representative and as Governor, only the second Governor from eastern WA (after another progressive Democrat, Clarence Martin), and the only Coug to hold that office. May he rest in peace, and...

You did so much good for the people of Washington and touched the hearts of your friends.

My brother and I first met Mike at a Young Democrats state meeting in Seattle. It was there my brother Don Robinson kept in touch with Mike so when he ran for Governor my brother volunteered to help Mike. I know he provided Mike with a lot of research he used in many of his speeches. Over time we learned Mike to be an honest, trustworthy and hardworking politician.

Although we lost my brother a few years ago to cancer it was our pleasure to have known Mike and his family...

Always a kind word, and a warm greeting from a genuine public servant. May Our Lord grant comfort and peace to family.

I worked in the Lowry administration as the Chair of the Utilities and Transportation Commission. I respected Mike's political courage and strong sense of justice. And I loved his optimism and sense of humor. His contributions to our state were many and lasting. We shall all miss him.

May a loving God provide solace to the family and may the citizens of Washington be thankful for Mike's service to all.

Mike, a great friend of the Renton Civic Theatre when I was artistic director there. He joined us in person to appear in front of the King County Arts Commission to plead our case for funding. Not only that, Mike made a donation of $1,000 to the theatre to back up his support. A tremendously nice and decent man, and he honored me with his friendship. His passing is a great loss.

I loved Governor Mike and his dedication to the people and social and environmental concerns of Washington State.
He is too young to be taken from us.
