Heritage Funeral Home and Cremation Services - Sioux Falls Obituary

With heavy hearts, we regret to inform you of the passing of Govindbhai Ishwarbhai Patel on May 4th,2025.

He was a devoted husband to Leelaben, a steadfast support to Yomika and Nirmal, a loving grandfather to Yash and Aesha, a caring father-in-law to Dharmesh, and a dear friend to all. His compassionate and generous nature made him a truly remarkable person, which makes this loss even more difficult to bear.

The loss of a loved one is not a one-time occurrence; it’s a constant reminder of their presence in our lives. With each new dawn, our memories resurface, and the jolt of grief that rips through our hearts is ever-present.

Please let me know if anything I can help Pravin & Ramila (Indu) Patel San Jose California!!

So sorry to read about the loss of your husband, father, grandfather and friend. I only met him a few times when he would bring Nick to work at the gas station. I worked at Quiznos. He would always wave or say hi. Few years ago Harold and I were driving and stopped at the motel in Dells to say hi. He and his wife welcome us with open arms. We had a drink and treat with them and his wife showed us around the hotel. Very nice people. Was shocked to read of his passing. He was way too young gone...

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Sincere and deepest condolences to the whole family during this difficult time. I was lucky to speak with Govindkaka a few days ago while he was in hospital. Sad and heartbreaking loss to his family and friends all over the world. May his soul rest in eternal peace and achieve moksha
