My mother (Lee Hayes) and Gracie were best friends for decades. I loved Gracie so much! She was one of the sweetest, funniest, and most generous people I've ever known. She lit up a room! I always enjoyed talking with her and would love when she would come over and sit with my mom, talking for hours. I am so very sorry for your loss - and I am so sorry that I just saw this and wasn't able to come and pay my respects. I hope her and my mom are hanging out now, drinking coffee, eating...
