Bill DeBerry Funeral Directors - Denton Obituary

Grace Ann Marabella Titone passed into eternity and the loving arms of her Savior Jesus Christ on All Saints Day, November 1, 2017 at her home in Denton, Texas from complications associated with Multiple System Atrophy, a rare and aggressive neurodegenerative disease.

Born August 21, 1942 in Shreveport, LA to Joseph H. and Zena C. Marabella, Grace Ann was a selfless and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt to her family.  Grace Ann's life was a personification of the Beatitudes outlined by Christ in His Sermon on the Mount.

Before her illness made it impossible to do so, Grace Ann served as a Eucharistic Minister; was a Life Master in duplicate bridge; an accomplished home designer/decorator, a "world class" shopper, and a collector of fine art and antiques.

Grace Ann was preceeded in death by her father, Joseph H. Marabella; mother Zena Cush Marabella, and sister-in-law Nancy Sage Marabella.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Jasper (Jay) S. Titone; son Stephen A. Titone and his wife Anne; daughter Rebecca M. Titone; son Gregory J. Titone and his wife Kimberly; six grandaughters Brittany Titone St. Martin and her husband Patrick, Sarah Titone, Stacy Titone, Ashley Titone, Melanie Titone, and Alyssa Titone; brother Sam Marabella and fiancee Karen Aylor; nephew Paul Marabella and his wife Liza; two great nieces Samantha and Sarena; and great nephew Sage.

Visitation, followed by Mass of Resurrection, will be at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church 2255 N. Bonnie Brae St., Denton, Texas 76207 on Friday, November 10, 2017.  Visitation will be 12pm noon to 1:30pm, with Mass celebrated by Father Tim Thompson at 1:30pm.  Arrangements are being handled by DeBerry Funeral Home, Denton, Texas.

The family wishes to express their most heartfelt gratitude to the entire staff of VNA-Ann's Haven in Denton, TX for the loving and compassionate care they provided to Grace Ann.

Not sure what to say?

“I didn’t have the pleasure of knowing your mom, but I’m sure she was a special person because she raised an amazing human being: you. Wishing you peace and comfort during this unimaginable time.”

Sorry to hear of the passing of Grace. May she rest in the arms of the Lord. We just found out she may be related to us in Lima, Ohio. She had sent pictures to a relative who had passed away and we found the pictures. Wish could have met her.

Jay and family, I am writing this note with such sadness and shock. Grace Ann was a wonderfully creative and talented woman and one who loved her family above all else. Our husbands worked together for Betz Laboratories and then Petrolite. Lots of memories. Rest in Peace

In loving memory of a wonderful person and family friend. Grace Ann was such a special person and a true to our mother, Yolanda Brady. We will miss her special friendship always. Much love to all the family, Brady, Christiansen and Maffuccio families.
