Thank you, Mrs. Cook, for being such an inspirational teacher and wonderful person. May God bless you and hold you in the palm of His hand.

Grace Cook may have accomplished incredible feats as a teacher and administrator, but in the family, she was “Mother Superior.” If a child was driving us crazy, we shared our pains with “Gramma” and she would indeed agree that the child was a “twerp.” On the other hand, if the child complained to Gramma that Mom would not allow her to wear pajamas to our Christmas morning celebration, then I was the twerp. Gramma’s kitchen is where you would run to for love and support.

Dear Cook family,
I am so sorry for your loss. Grace touched so many lives through her educational career that the results of her work cannot be quantified. She gave me my first chance to work with students in a school setting, and I will always be grateful for what I learned from that experience. Hers was a life well lived, and she will be greatly missed. You are all in my prayers.
