Grace Dempsey

Can't believe we are coming up to the anniversary of Grace's passing. I still miss her every day but she is with me in my prayers.

Grace was such a beautiful lady. I´ll miss you and you´ll always hold a very special place in my heart. RIP.

I worked many years with Grace at Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center. When at work or tending her rentals or hiking the trails she was so independent and energetic! I would tease her asking "Is there anything you can't fix or do?"Rest in peace my friend.

I went to Old Mission School with Mrs. Dempsey's daughter Ann. Mrs. Dempsey helped to lead our Camp Fire Girl group, would take a group of us Christmas caroling each year, and volunteered to teach mini courses of cake decorating at Old Mission Elementary School. (It was always the most popular course to take.) I also have such incredible memories of her amazing chocolate chip cookies. I remember how kind and patient she was. Aunt Grace was always an inspiration to me. She gardened, she sewed, she played the organ. And she was a pretty good cake decorator as well! One year she made "doll" cakes for my Aunt Judy and myself. We were in the second or third grade and they were the most amazing cakes I had ever seen. I will miss our "garden" talks.

So many memories, so many emotions. Dear Grace, I already miss you so much but you are embedded in my heart and prayers for your onward progress in all the worlds of God.
