It was such a pleasure to be part of Irene's life. She was a treasure and I loved the special connection we shared. It was sad to watch her fade away, but she never lost that sparkle. Grandma Eberhart was a very special lady! Loved by so many people, she was always willing to help anyone. I can't believe she let me go to her house after school to practice the piano when I was little. She must have had earplugs for those days. She was a great lady and will be greatly missed. Irene was a wonderful lady. I have several great memories. She could take a piece of fabric and magically turn it into whatever she wanted. She let my kids call her Grandma, Melissa called her Grandma Heart, I loved that. Heaven has gained another angel. May God bless Grandma Hearts family with comfort and great memories.
