EDWARDS, Ms. Grace Elizabeth, of Richmond, departed this life May 31, 2008. She retired from Millers Manufactur-ing Co. and later from private duty nursing. She was preceded in death by her brother, Andrew Luther Edwards. She is survived by three devoted children, Phyllis Hatcher, Arthur Edwards (Rosa) and Gerald Edwards (Letha); a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one sister, Lillie Mae Hamilton; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Edwards; and other relatives and friends. Special thanks to the staff of The Laurels of Willow Creek and the hospice nurses of Bon Secours Hospital. Remains rest at Mimms Funeral Home, 1827 Hull Street, where a funeral service will be held Friday, June 6, 1 p.m., Rev. Glenn Edwards officiating. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

I extend my deepest sympathy for your loss. I had not seen Ms. Grace for many years but their are some people that are always in your heart and you have fond memories of them. Ms. Grace is one of those ladies that holds that distinction with me.

It is with great sadness that we had to loose such a special lady with a great family. We will always remember the great time she had with "ELVIS" and the love we all showed and showered upon her during her struggle. I miss you even though we grew apart after Michael's and Roy Edwards' death. I will always treasure the times that we spent talking and laughing at Roy's apartment and the many phone conversations that we had. May your family be blessed and know that they are in my thoughts and prayers.

To Grace's Family, we haven't seen her in many years, but our father (Calvin Miles)was her foreman at Miller's Mfg.Co.We were so sorry to hear about Grace's passing.
