Not sure what to say?

Took a journey through my memories of childhood in Park Forest today. Mrs. Glaum was my 2nd grade teacher at Mohawk Elementary in 1982 and found myself fondly remembering her kind, bubbly personality and "conducting" her classes through "My Country Tis of Thee" daily. Her husband Robert was a quiet, patriotic man who served with Patton´s Army in WWII, and the 2 of them were the model of life long love. I see it´s been 13 years since she passed. My respects and condolences. Thank you for...

GRACE,DORIS AND I HAD A WONDERFUL TRIP FOR A MONTH OUT WEST A FEW YEARS AGO. I HAVE SOME HAPPY REMEMBERANCES OF HER.SHE WAS A LOT OF FUN.SHE HAD A GREAT SENSE OF HUMOR. I WILL MISS HER.

Mrs. Glaum was my 2nd grade teacher at Mohawk Elementary, and she was a great teacher! Still thinking good thoughts about all the love and instruction she passed on to her many students.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

Walked into Grace Church on Mothers Day and saw Mrs. Glaum sitting in the vestibule. I went over and gave her a big hug and asked how my favorite teacher was doing? Always looked forward to seeing her when I came back into town to visit my folks. She was a good friend to my Mom & Pop. My thoughts are with the family.

30 years ago when I became secretary at Blackhawk School, a wonderful lady named Grace taught in a classroom just down the hall from me. She had a love for children which she passed on to her daughter, Shirley, who also taught. She was extremely proud of her grandchildren. Kym and my son, John, were friends and classmates all through school. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you as you deal with such a sudden loss. I know you will miss her dearly.
Sincerely,

Aunt Grace: I will always remember our lunches with you, Aunt Louise and Aunt Doris. John and I enjoyed your visits to AZ. You are united with all our loved ones and in God's precious care.

Ann Marie and John

We here from the Michigan family will miss you. I for one will miss all the memorable emails you sent me.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all

My education peaked in the second grade, with Mrs. Glaum as my wonderful teacher, a relationship I have kept dear to me in the 48 years since. She was not only the best teacher I ever had, she was also the warmest, kindest and most generous of heart. Mrs. Glaum truly was Grace.
