Not sure what to say?

To the family of Grace Guadagno
I am a Deaconess nurse who worked with Gracie back in the late 60's and early 70's. I just learned of her passing and had last seen her at the Deaconess Alumni dinner this April. Gracie will always bring a smile to my face. What was Deaconess without her. I remember my first year as a graduate nurse on 2M under her guidance. I am sorry I did not get to her wake and I will miss her. God's blessings to the family. Shirley Mecca

Michelle, Michael and family,

Donald and I want to extend our sincere sympathy to all of you. I was so very sorry to hear about Aunt Grace. We had hoped to get to Buffalo and pay her a visit. Donald and I were happy to help out when your dad was a patient at the Cleveland Clinic and your mom stayed with us as well as your dad. Every morning I would drive your mom to the hospital for the day while I was at work. I felt so bad that we lived an hour away and that each day would be so...

Dear Michelle and Michael

Doreen and I are so sorry to hear about your mother. I've known your mother for over 50 years. I'll always remember how Aunt Grace and my father played off each other (better than the movies). She will be missed. We were happy we got to see her in February.
Sincerely,
Frank and Doreen Carpino

Michelle,Michael, Zachary &Olivia,
You knew Aunt Grace as Mom & grandmother. I knew her as "Aunt Grace" & my nursing mentor. When I became a nurse in 1964 she was well meshed in her career as a "Top Knotch Surgical Nurse." I worked in Public Health in the Deaconess Hospital vicinity & it became my "pit stop" where I would meet her for lunch & go back with her to 2M where she was now in Cardiac Critical Care. I got to meet many of her patients. No matter how ornary, comatosed or...

Michele and Michael,
Your Mom was a very special lady, whom I will never forget! Her spirit will live in my heart forever.

Dear Michelle and Michael,
There will never be another "Grace"!
Over the years, I've thought of her often - always with a smile.
Warmly,
Linda Kowalski

I took a vacation about 3 weeks ago to my old hometown of Buffalo and had a couple of nice visits with my Aunt Grace. I let her know that she was my favorite aunt, and she dryly replied “I know”. We were not actual blood relatives, but very much family, living since the late 50’s on our little suburban street of Danebrock Drive. For many years my mother (Aunt Lena) would watch over Michelle until her mom came home from Deaconess Hospital at 2:30pm. All of us kids on the block had so much fun...

Dear Michelle and Mike,

I am very sorry for your loss. I liked Grace very much, she was funny and always interesting to talk with. She will be missed.

"He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning nor crying nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away."

Revelation 21:4

Michelle & Michael,
We have so many fond memories of Aunt Grace. Many of them make us laugh and remember her remarkable spirit and unforgettable presence. May you find peace in knowing she is healed, and smiling down on us all from Heaven.

With Love and Sympathy,
Gregory & Sabrina Lewandowski
