Grace, 80, passed away peacefully at home on July 20, 2018. Grace Anne was born on February 23, 1938 to Betty and Charles Emmett Dallam.

Grace Anne was a long time educator and was always able to find the best in her students. She loved being outdoors spending countless hours tending to her garden. In her younger years, Grace Anne excelled in athletics including cheer, track, golf and skiing, before she devoted her life to raising her two children. Grace Anne loved to make others happy with her baking. All who tasted her baked goods, as well as those who tried to duplicate her recipes, would agree she had a special talent in the kitchen. Even in her later years when her speech was failing, her warm heart continued to shine through. Grace Anne was an incredibly special, selfless woman who will be missed dearly.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Grady; her children, Betsy Pirotte and her husband Jay of Katy, Texas and Michael Herold and his wife Laura of Cypress, Texas; granddaughters, Lauren Pirotte, Emma Herold and Catherine Herold; sister, Sara Jane Field and her husband Charlie of Lawson, Missouri; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Grace Anne was preceded in death by her parents.

The family would like to extend a thank you to the numerous caregivers who helped Grace Anne throughout the years.

The family will hold a private memorial service to celebrate the life of Grace Anne.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to PEO International.
