It was a honor to know Grace and to help her. She always got a laugh out of my sense of humor. She always told me she loved her sons and that she was proud of them. I will miss her but I know she is in a better place now with no more suffering.

Grace was a wonderful grandmother to my brothers and I. She would still get down on the floor to play with her great grandchildren up until a few years ago. She will be missed by all of us.

Brother John just let me know that Grace Ion has passed away. I have wonderful memories of her not only times when Donna and I would see her either at Aunt Hazel's and Uncle Frank's, but also at our grandparents house in Harrison. I was fortunate to spend some time with her in Capser during my residency as she would have me over for dinner. Wonderfully warm, bright, intelligent, and funny person whom you will dearly miss. Our thoughts are with you, John and Barry and families.

What a lovely woman! Those who knew her loved her. She will be sadly missed. She was a strong woman. She loved her boys, was very proud of you both. We all can be comforted by her now being at peace, no more sickness, pain or worries. Peace be with you all. Be strong like she knows you can be.
Love,
