Not sure what to say?

I was just looking up summer camps from the 1970's and saw this obituary. My daughter got me StoryWorth for Christmas and asked a question about some of my memories. A very significant memory was attending Camp Lou-e-Len between 7th and 8th grades for an entire month. Grace Morgan was a director. I remember taking Life Saving in the lake and having to rescue her as part of my passing the course. She put up quite a fight! I've never forgotten that or her warm manner. I also had her for...

Prayers and blessings! I am a 1981 tosa east grad! Loved mrs Morgan!

Barbara,
I have memories of your mom letting you bring the convertible to the playground at Wilson school so we could pile in and have a ride to our baseball games. Later in my life I loved reading all her Senior involvements
at the church and Habitat. She is a great example of a "Purpose Filled Life". Now that I am retired I see that was quite a choice she made a long time ago.
Blessings to all the family,
Ruth (Tendler) Picotte (alias Moose)

Barb,
I am so sorry for your loss. Grace was a wonderful lady. My prayers are with you and your family.

Ann Larget had told me Grace had died. I had her for Jr & Sr High gym classes. She was an amazing lady and I can still hear her gentle voice and words of wisdom. I feel so honored to have had her as a teacher. What an amazing life she led and there will be so many who are in warm shelter because of her continued care and love of people. She was a wonderful teacher and love to all her family who has lost a great woman.

We were glad to have been neighbors and church members with Grace. She was an amazing woman. Barbara and Deanna our thoughts and prayers are with you both.

I feel honored and fortunate to have known Grace by my association with the Underwood Baptist Church. She was truly an inspiration and one who believed in selfless service to the needy.

Grace was a constant and vital presence at Habitat for Humanity. She continued to find ways to help and serve, decades after others would have given up. A true inspiration! Nancy Groethe

Will miss just knowing you are here, Gracie.
Those summers with you at Lou-e-len were blessed. So glad you were a part of my life!
