Obituary

MORRIS, Grace Faulconer, 97, passed away Saturday, September 5, 2009. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Morris. Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Connie Morris Samuel and Welford E. Samuel; two granddaughters, Sharon Samuel Hardy and husband, Gary, and Susan Samuel Cox; four great-grandsons, Jason Williamson, Matthew Cox and wife, Kellie, Andrew Cox and wife, Tagan, and LCPL Richard Cox; and two great-great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at Forest Lawn Cemetery, 11 a.m. Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tenn. 38105. The family would like to thank Haven Assisted Living and Hospice for all their kindness and loving care.

Grace Morris was a delicate woman with chiseled features, an infectious smile and a sound presence that could not be denied.
