Not sure what to say?

Doug and Family,
It has been many years since I last saw your mom, but thoughts and impressions of her, along with aspirations to be like her, will always be with me. God bless you all.

Dear Parrish Family: I will be forever in debted to Grace, my dear friend. I learned so much from her and I so admire her for her willingness to help out at a moment's notice, whether musically or any other way. I admit to being jealous of her wonderful musical abilities! She is one of a kind and will be sorely missed! I will never forget when she asked me to play with her on a KUTV exercise show--such fun we had! Wondeful memories. Your family will surely miss her--but what a...

I loved to hear her play "When You Wish Upon a Star" (written by her relative) or anything else. I am sure the funeral will be very musical. She is was a gift to us and now to heaven, where the music is finer still.

To all Gib and Grace's children and relatives - I am Jim and Cloy Kent's oldest daughter and knew Grace as well as Gib. What wonderful people they both were. I treasure their example of stalwart devotion to the gospel, to doing good in the kingdom and in the community, all with humble and loving good grace (pun intended!).

I wish you all the comfort that the plan of salvation can bring, knowing Grace will enjoy being reunited with Gib and all her ancestors.

Much love...

I didn't know Sister Parrish very well but I do know that she gave birth to and raised a remarkable son.
She touched the lives of her family and many others with her love of music, the gospel and the Savior.

Dear Norm and Family,
We want to send our love to you all. Aunt Grace was a sweet and dear lady. I remember when she played the piano at Aunt Martha's funeral. I was at awe how she could go from one song right into another as though it was magic. Your mom and Uncle Gib gave us some delicious dehydrated strawberries when we had come to visit. I wanted to attend the funeral but we just got from Richfield, Utah after helping my daughter's family out this past week. Bless you all. I...

I have enjoyed helping Grace for many years at Wells Fargo Bank in Centerville and was saddened to hear of her passing. She was one of the sweetest ladies I have had the pleasure to know. We will all miss her at the bank.

Sister Parrish was my piano teacher for several years. I'm thankful for the wonderful way she taught and shared her talents. I send my sympathy to her family.

I want to express my love for Grace, and the love of the whole Reid family. We have been friends for all of my life, and she was a great friend and accompanist for my mother, Ila Reid and my sisters when we sang at many social and Relief Society functions. She was also my wonderful piano teacher when I was a teacher at Jennie P. Stewart Elementary. I loved taking piano lessons from Grace. She was a great listener, especially after my mom passed away. She played the organ beautifully at...
