Not sure what to say?

Ms. Pergolizzi will alway hold a place in my heart. I´ll always Remeber admiring her red nails as she moved her hands and sang conjugated Italian verbs to help us memorize them. She sat on top of the desk and you could tell she was just very comfortable with her students and enjoyed her work. Delhi lived La vita Bella!

Momma Pergs!! Always looking out for all of us. My heart will never be the same.To know her is to love her.You opened your home and your heart and wisdom,I will love you forever.Greg Morrison

I'll always remember Signora Pergolizzi (Perg). She was a very special person and teacher. The stories she shared of her love for everything Italian are fresh in my mind when I am visiting Italy. I remember our Italian nights at Accompsett Junior high and how fun she made our lessons. Throwing a ball while conjugating verbs! She will always be in my heart!

Grace was our special loving cousin. She had a million dollar smile. She was so sincere and intelligent. She was the best!! Rest well,Grace while you remain in the arms of our Lord forever. Heaven surely received an angel. Love , Lucille, Joe and Family.

RIP Signora.

I lived just a couple of houses away from her when I was a young child. She was the first person to come and see me when I was born and my parents brought me home. Our paths crossed when I took Italian to honor my heritage in high school. Her teaching style and genuine love of life and teaching young minds allowed me to fly high above any cloud. She took on a very important place in my life in the rest of my time in Smithtown, and in my psyche to this day. I just hope I can learn to be her...

My Italian favorite teacher!! I went to Italy with her 1990! Such a wonderful person!
