Grace M. Saputo

LAKE IN THE HILLS – Grace M. Saputo, nee Radek, 78, of Lake in the Hills, passed away peacefully Thursday, April 21, 2011, at Pepper Family Hospice House in Barrington.

She was born July 2, 1932, in Chicago. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend who enjoyed making stained glass and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Joseph; her children, Kathleen (Dennis) Grzelak and Deborah Czerniak; her brother, Norbert (Joanne) Radek; her grandchildren, Toby (Molly) Czerniak, Nicole Grzelak and Joseph Czerniak; her great-grandchildren, Hanna, Morgan and Madi Czerniak; her best friend/sister-in-law, Loretta; and a dear friend, Phyllis.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Margaret.

The visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, April 26, at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W. Main St. (Lake-Cook Road), Barrington. Entombment will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 27, at St. Adalbert Mausoleum, 6800 Milwaukee Ave., Niles.
