Read MoreGrace lived on my grandparents' block and was a big part of my childhood. I remember that she would sometimes invite us over to her beautiful backyard and porch swing. She also gave me my very first ice cream cone. I also remember her speaking PA Dutch with my Pop Pop. She was a sweetheart, and I'm very sorry for your loss.

Grace and Ernie lived on our street in Mt. Penn and my parents became very good friends with them. Grace was a sweetheart and was like family to us. We will miss her.

To the family of Grace I would like to relate a funny story. My husbands aunt is a resident of Luther Crest and when I went in to visit her I always said Hi to Grace. One day while sitting in the area where the residents sat to converse I told everyone that I had taken Lillian to Werleys Corner thinking that no one at Luther Crest would know where Werleys Corner was.
