Champion, Ohio - Grace "Madeline" Sims, 88, died Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at St. Joseph's Health Center. She was born on September 29, 1927 in Tunnelton, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Oran and Goldie Sigley Bolyard. Grace was employed by Ohio Lamp as a utility relief person. She enjoyed her family, cooking, and baking. Mrs. Sims was quoted "I am a very hard worker from my upbringing in West Virginia and a good county girl" . Memories of Grace will be carried on by daughter, Joann (Mark) Sowa of Champion, OH, grandsons, Nolan and Dylan of Champion, OH, son, Donald (Liz) Sims of Geneva, OH, brother, Edward (Carolyn) Bolyard, She was preceded in death husband, Delbert C. Sims, brothers, Clifford and Willard Bolyard, Family will receive friends Saturday, July 9, 2016 from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm at McFarland & Son Funeral Home, Warren. Services will be held at McFarland & Son Funeral Home, Warren. Saturday at 1:00 pm. Internment will follow at Champion Township Cemetery at a later date. The few things you may not heard me say. I whispered in your ear I LOVE YOU and I know you loved me to. I ask you to forgive me for any pain I put you through. You laid peaceful with your eyes shut and I know what was happening then you were waiting on the love of your life to return to you again. As you drifted deeper to sleep I tried not feel selfish because I wanted you here but it's hard to let someone go that you have held so dear. So As I end this note to you I'll say my good byes only...
