She was a Christian mother to me. She asked me once, "According to Romans 6:1, are you dead in Christ? Then, don't live in the past in sin." These were very restoring words, and I needed to hear them just then. I am thankful for the faith and the family she gave me in Christ. Her home was always open and always loving. She laughed and forever made pithy comments and asides. I will miss her.

We thought Grace was terrific from the first time we met her at Gresham United Methodist Church, where we used to go to church. Our daughter, Andrea, used to work at Fred Meyer and was always excited when Grace came in because she absolutely adored Grace. Don & Shirley
