Gracie Ellen Rexrode

Bill, the short sentence in Gracie's obituary "a retired teacher" does not do justice to her contributions to the many students at Eastern Greenbrier. I subbed there for English teachers the year before she retired that October and turned her classes over to me. Please know that she was respected by her staff and her students. Her gentle touch helped a number students that will never have the opportunity to tell you how much she meant to them. We are sorry for your family's loss.

Mr. Rexrode, I am so sorry for your loss. I know God comforts when half of you passes first. He has been true to His promises since my Jim died on 2009. I hope you know the same God who welcomes you to lean on His breast as you read His promises to you. You and your precious wife made a big difference at Rupert School and in my life and education.
