Not sure what to say?

Mrs. Ward was one of my all-time favorite teachers. She was strict but kind, fun but challenging and she made my life better because she was my teacher. I have worked in education for ten years now and she is definitely someone I model myself after. My sympathies to her family and I hope we can all be so lucky to live such a long, fulfilling and inspirational life. Aloha on this snowy day!

I want to express my sincere sympathy to Mrs. Ward's son and all of her family and friends. I remember her as one of the best teachers at Fulton School. One of my sons was blessed to have her as his 4th grade teacher. She was such a warm, nurturing person. My fondest memory of her was watching her when she would process out with the children at the end of the school day, always holding the hand of two of her students, while the rest of the children followed behind like little ducklings. ...

What a wonderful woman Mrs. Ward was and I was extrememly lucky to have had her as my fourth grade teacher at Fulton. Rest in peace Mrs. Ward . . . you sooo deserve it!

Mrs. Ward was by far my favorite elementary school teacher, at Fulton. She was always there to help you out, and with a song in her heart. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.

I'm 35 years old. Mrs. Ward was my 4th grade teacher at Fulton. I can still remember smelling my hands after she held them. I loved her lotion. "Two doors coming", she would say. That meant that you hold the doors for the rest of the class. I remember all the songs we sang. "We say aloha. We say aloha. That's how we greet you. We're glad to meet you. We bid you welcome. A hardy welcome. We hope you have a happy visit while you're here." There are so many more. I loved this...

Mrs. Ward taught etiquette and respect with love and charm. I still remember singing in front of the class..I still remember the songs she taught us.. She loved to sing! "Tingalayo" and "A wise old owl" are songs that I still sing to my own children..... She never missed out on an opportunity to hold your hand as she walked us down the halls. May her family find peace in her passing - for her legacy lives on through them and her students! God Bless...

She taught etiquette and respect to children with humor and love. She made learning contagious! What a wonderful woman she was! I still remember singing in front of the class..I still remember the songs she taught.. "Tingalayo" and "A wise old owl" I still sing them with my own children..... She would hold your hand if you were the line leader and tell the girls they should walk like ladies.. with one foot placed in front of the other... She was one of my favorite memories of the Fulton...

Gracie was a charming woman with a clever, witty way of expressing herself. She always had a song on her lips and in her heart. I am glad that we worked together at Fulton School as that opportunity allowed us to become friends. We shared birthdays in January which gave us another "excuse" to celebrate our friendship. I know she adored her son and I extend my sincere condolences to Grayson. May her other family members keep her memory dear to their hearts. Gracie - may you rest in peace; I...

Mrs Ward was one of those one in a million teachers. She made you want to be a better person.

My condolences to the Ward family.
