I have known Mr. Blaylock since I was about 10 and Stephanie and I were best friends in Gloucester and then Williamsburg and have remained very close. My parents were very close with Mr. and Mrs. Blaylock as well. Needless to say they are like family to me. I loved being around him and he...

Dear Family of Grady,
It was with sadness that I read of Grady's passing. I extend my sincere condolences.
As you know so well, he was a special man who ...through his vision, hard work and noble values...became a legend in the credit management industry, Throughout the Peninsula, he was a highly respected and admired business leader. And you had the privilege of knowing him best for his most important qualities as a husband, father, and grandfather.
You are in my thoughts...

Grady was my first boss in retail at Rices/Nachmans in the credit department which began my 40 year career in department stores on the peninsula. He was a great man to work for always teaching, and training. My condolences to Nancy and the entire Blaylock family.
Sincerely Tom Barnes, V.P. of Thalhimers and Hechts department stores.

May God give you peace in your time of loss. Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. Matthew 5:4 God bless each of...
