Diane, Laurel and Alex,
All of you have part fo my life for over 20 years. Grady will be missed very much as a friend who accepted each indiviual without any preconceived notions. He was always warm and generous as you all continue to be as a family. Know that all of you are in my thoughts and prayers.
With best wishes and love,

Carol Bagan

Grady left us two months ago today. How I miss his voice, his humor, his cheery nature, his affection and that warm smile. He was all that people have said here and more. Especially to me. I thank all of you who have shared your memories here, I thank God for the blessings we enjoyed, and I thank Grady for choosing me to be at his side through a wonderful marriage.

Dear Diane, Laurel, and Alex,
We are very sorry to learn of the loss of Grady.

Dear Diane, Laurel and Alex,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. From my first encounter with Grady in Amelia Island, I found him to be so refreshingly warm and kind. My thoughts are with you.
Love,
Kristin

Dear Diane & Family,

Selfishly, I will be forever grateful that I was able to reconnect with Grady at the Decatur High 50th reunion. He was a very special person, and he exemplified everything that is good in this world.
May the happy memories you have help you through this difficult time.

Blessings,
Jane Sewell Lang

Diane, Laurel, and Alex,
I want you to know Grady affected our lives, too. We know he was a kind and generous man, and will be missed terribly. You have our deepest sympathy, and you are all in our thoughts and prayers. We all know where Grady is now. We wish you all the best and please stay in touch. Love to all of you, Wilma and Emanuel Keyes

Dear Diane, Laurel and Alex,
The Kunerts met all four of you through Montessori. Grady and Diane modeled the very best of what Dr. Maria Montessori advocated - love and respect for each other, for children and for nature and the world community. All of us - Wolfgang, Louise, Mark and Kurt - will always remember Grady as the insipiration and center of your wonderful family.
