Not sure what to say?

Jerry Norris was a great leader of the Regulations Division of the General Counsel's Office at HUD. He was bright, funny, humble and supportive. When I attained a high level of giving blood to the Red Cross, Jerry accompanied me to the recognition ceremony. He encouraged mutual consultation among the attorneys and friendships among all the staff. Camaraderie was the result. Glad he had 30 years of retirement!

I never met Mr. Norris but I would like to express my condolences to his family of a man who was not afraid to defend the vulnerable and the disenfranchised regarding the right to vote and the right for fair housing; the LORD God Almighty has no respecter of persons. I never met Jerry personally but we had kept in touch by mail for around 20 years now, someone I really liked and who infected me - from across the Atlantic - with an interest in Baseball and the O's. He was proud of his family, in particular the way they rallied around him when Mary died. I have added a picture of Norris Pond.

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always.

My condolences to the family and friends of Mr. Norris. His services in Civil Rights are greatly appreciated.
