Not sure what to say?

I knew Graham as a friend at Henry Wise Wood and spent many lunch hours playing chess with him. Those were innocent days and we certainly had fun; he was a good guy and a loyal friend. I'm very sorry to hear of his passing so young and I send my condolences to his family.

My email address is [email protected]. I would be grateful to correspond with or speak to any of Graham's family, in order to lean about his adult life, and to explore any ways in which I could honour his memory.

I am just reading this for the first time, as I was trying to look Graham up, and I feel devastated. Graham and I were close friends in middle and high school, we playied lots of chess and enjoyed each other's company. I knew his family quite well, as I only lived a few blocks from him. (He attended the Jewish school across the street from the high school I attended.) Graham was a thoughtful and intelligent young man, with a big heart, a fine sense of humour, and also bravery and boldness...

Graham was so cool at all moments. He was a lot like the Fonz from Happy Days. At the same time he made you laugh like none of my other friends could. What a amazing person Graham was in my years growing up with him.

I was so sad to hear about the passing of Graham. I went to Jr. High with Graham at the CHS and remember him so well. When I first moved to Calgary, his was the first birthday party I was invited to - it was at his dad's house and I remember having snowball fights. He was funny and fun and an all around nice guy. We lost touch but given that our Jr High school grade only had 12 kids in it, we were all good friends. My condolences to his family.

He was definitely full of life for the junior high and high school years we spent many exciting weekends together. Along with Stephen Sunderland we had Risk games that could last a weekend, numerous all-night card games at my house in Britannia, and once in a while from the age of 14 we snuck away to Stampede Park to bet the ponies. Back in those days, Graham was a very daring guy that lived for life's adventures, and wasn't afraid to cease the moment. Sorry we lost touch after high school.

Oh Bart, I am so sorry to hear about Graham! I remember him as a young boy, especially when he learned to cross country ski and just tore up those mountains! My heart goes out to you and your family; I cry for your loss.
