Not sure what to say?

As a new teacher, I had the pleasure of working with Graham on his rental houses during the summer months for ten years in the late 80s and early 90s. Graham was and continues to be the single most formative role model in my life - his kindness, integrity, strength and moral compass guide me to this very day. Graham's lessons (both moral and construction-related) have made me a better, more empathic person. I will so miss Graham, and I hope that his family will find some comfort in knowing...

Mr. Miles was a good man. A kind teacher and very interested in people other than himself. Rest In Peace Graham Miles

Our condolences to the Graham Miles family. He hired us for foundation issues on two of his properties and asked if we needed building permit he said don't worry about it, what a guy, fond memories. Bill & Ruth Ann Yadlosky

I had the pleasure of being one of Graham's tenants from 2005-2005. He was always so kind, warm, and cheerful. Both my roommate and I remained pen pals with Graham for several years after we graduated from UM and left Ann Arbor to pursue our professional careers. I think of him every time I pass our old apartment on State Street. Ann Arbor has lost a quiet, lovely man whose presence will always color fond memories of my college experience.

It was a joy to team teach with Graham at Tappan. He was an enthusiastic and compassionate educator and colleague. He eagerly helped to arrange interdisciplinary field trips for our students and participated in all extracurricular faculty events and potlucks, even after he retired. His holiday cinnamon buns were legendary!
Graham had a solid, clearheaded, and calming presence. Whenever he spoke at meetings, everyone listened intently because we knew that whatever he said would...

Graham Miles was a dedicated and fine Science teacher. Plus, he could make or fix just about anything whether inspiring a struggling science student to success, or wiring and plumbing a house. I was lucky enough to start my teaching career at Tappan in 1969, where Graham was a model educator and mentor to many. I'll never forget him. Those of us whose lives were touched by that fine man we are lucky indeed.
