Granger Macfarlane II

Not only Roanoke but also Virginia has lost a great citizen. Condolences to all his family and friends.

To the Mr. John Granger Macfarlane family- Thanks for sharing your honorable father with us. Mr. 'Granger' was an interesting person to talk with. He always wanted to have the last word in the conversation- yet he would let his little light shine on how well he appreciated a person doing something well for him. It was a pleasure to have cared for him. God bless your family during this time of grief.

Our condolence to the family of Senator Granger Macfarlane. He was a wonderful friend and mentor. I am so sorry we will be out of town for the service on Monday. He left us too soon after his wonderful wife Anne. He will be long remembered as a strong leader who was a great friend. He accomplished a lot for Viriginia and for our local community. Cathye joins me sending our deepest sympathies to his family.
