Not sure what to say?

I am so sorry for everyone's loss. I know that Grant touched many lives because he always made the most out of his. I met Grant during my first year teaching at M.L. Bennion Elementary. We spent many afternoons discussing the joys and frustrations of our first years in the classroom. He, Angela, and I were the "young teachers" of the school and we spent many Fridays going out for lunch. Grant always brought a smile to our faces after a long week! One memory that I will always remember is when...

I am so sincerely sorry to hear about your loss. I met Grant briefly during summer English as a Second Language courses offered through Salt Lake School District. While I didn't have the chance to get to know him well, he definitely stood out as someone you would want teaching your kids - great sense of humor, really intelligent while still being able to relate well to everyone, interesting, dedicated, and passionate about life and living it to the fullest. I am truly sorry for your loss and...

My son was breifly in Mr Brower's class last year when he was in kindergarden. He was teaching the children to speak spanish for 1 hour after school. I met Grant a few times, when I would pick up Austin, or even just walking in the hall, he always had a smile on his face and waved at me. Grant had mentioned to me one time when they were talking about the colors and he asked Austin if he remembered how to say blue in spanish, and Austin said " No, but I am wearing rojo underwear" It was funny,...

Dear Family,
I met Grant while working at Stansbury Elementary. I'm so very sorry to hear the sad news. Grant had a way of interacting with kids that inspired me on a daily basis. He seemed to know exactly what each particular child needed in order to feel successful. When kids talked about him, it was obvious that he was a role model. He was the "cool teacher" at our school! His sense of humor and his compassion were unfailing. I'll never forget him. I'm so terribly sorry for your loss.

To the Brower family, I am truly sorry for your loss. I didn't know Grant but I know Krissy and I know that she and Grant were making a life together that was full of happiness and love. Krissy, I cannot even imagine how deep your pain must be. Remember you have us to lean on. With all my sympathy, love and support, Renee

Dear Family-all of you!
I enjoyed watching the family grow up through the years that I knew you. My husband, J.R., still talks of the time we took David down to Yuba with us. (Do you remember that too?) It was fun. We even have talked about taking him with us other times too. We assumed that David has his own life now and wouldn’t be interested in tagging along. I was truly shocked to hear about Grant when Dilleen called me. I was planning on making it to the viewing and/or funeral...

I was luck enough to meet Grant while working at Rose Park Elementary. He will be greatly missed. My children go to Rose Park and Grant impacted their lives in a wonderful way. They asked me, " mom why did this happen to Mr. Brower?" All I could say was that God needed a special Angel. Grant was that special Angel to many. I will always remember that smile. I pray that the Lord holds your hand thru these hard times.

I DID NOT KNOW GRANT THAT WELL, BUT THE LITTLE THAT I DID GET TO KNOW OF HIM WAS ENOUGH TO KNOW THAT HE WAS TRULY A HERO! HE STANDS FOR EVERYTHING OUR WORLD NEEDS! HE WILL BE FOREVER LOVED AND MISSED!

We would like to extend our deepest condolences to the Brower family and friends.
