I met Beaver in third grade at Duniway grade school. We were seated alphabetically in class. My name started with a B and his with a C. We were friends for 65 years after that. I was the quiet one and he was the character... a perfect match. Later I remember watching 77 Sunset strip And Route 66 on my black-and-white TV with him, making popcorn and having Pepsi never Coke.
